Antiphospholipid syndrome is one of the non-inflammatory systemic connective tissue diseases. In gynaecology and obstetrics, it is considered as a cause of obstetric failures, mainly miscarriages. The presence of antiphospholipid antibodies, characteristic of this disease, also increases the risk of preterm birth, fetal growth disorders or pregnancy-induced hypertension in the mother. What management should be implemented in patients planning a pregnancy and during pregnancy?
