Atrial fibrillation is a condition that is extremely prevalent in populations worldwide. Approximately 130,000 new cases are reported each year, with up to 3% of these cases occurring in people under 20 years of age. Diagnosis of atrial fibrillation is based on the ECG recording, but sometimes the symptoms may be clinically silent and not be visible on the test results, posing a particular threat to human health or even life. Early detection and therapy, based on a holistic approach to the patient, are therefore very important.
