Every one of us has met this type of person. Always wanting to be the centre, loud, provocative, wanting attention at all costs. True, they can be annoying at times, but to some extent the world is favourable to histrionics. Thanks to their high social skills, they can, more or less consciously, manipulate others and climb the career and social life ladder. The problem begins, however, when they want to build real, deep relationships that need to be underpinned by something other than the constant affirmation of the attractiveness of their own self.
