At the beginning of the 21st century, addiction to medicines has become more and more common - not only those prescribed by prescription, especially as obtaining them requires some commitment on the part of the patient, but also those freely available. They can be obtained not only in pharmacies, but also at the kiosk, the supermarket or the petrol station. Although apparently their consumption is not as risky as the consumption of psychotropic drugs or even 'ordinary' antibiotics, long-term use, especially in increased doses, can carry real risks.
