It is worth paying attention to the composition of care cosmetics and their intended use for children's skin. The more natural ingredients, the better. A hypoallergenic formula is important to minimise the risk of allergic reactions. Preparations of this type can very often be purchased in pharmacies.

Here are four rules to get rid of your baby's dry skin symptoms:

Adequate fluids - the child needs to hydrate the skin not only externally, but also internally. Take care to provide your baby with the right amount of fluids (the amount depends on age, diet and individual needs).
Moisturising rough and dry skin - at least twice a day, products intended for the care of a child's dry skin should be used.

Important! Cosmetics based on thermal water are good. They have a safe composition and are recommended by paediatricians.

Donot use soaps: Soap is drying. Use emollients or other syndicates to replenish lipids.
Protect your child's dry skin - the skin should be protected from the sun, frost and wind. Appropriate protective creams should be used and those parts of the body that are exposed to harmful external factors should be covered.

Dry areas (e.g. elbows and knees, forearms) should be treated with lotions, balms and body lotions.
