In the context of the current global epidemiological situation, many people struggle with effective prevention. Patients being treated for scleroderma have an additional burden due to frequent cases of immunosuppression as a result of the medication they are taking. They are therefore at greater risk of both coronavirus infection and a more severe course of the disease. Most therapies do not need to be discontinued, but prophylaxis and prevention must be strictly adhered to.
