Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men. The main factor in the occurrence of the disease is age and genetics. Prostate cancer mainly affects men over the age of 60. However, men over the age of 40 should take an interest in prevention especially if there is a family history of the disease. The majority of cases of prostate cancer are adenomas developing mostly in the peripheral zone of the prostate gland.
