Psychoactive substances - whether drugs, legal highs or alcohol - are taken by adults, teenagers and even children. For young people growing up, these drugs pose a particular threat - not only can they become addictive more easily, but their effects can have a significant impact on their developing nervous systems. It would seem that if alcohol is difficult for minors to obtain, then alcohol abuse should not be a problem - but unfortunately this is not the case.
