Very often, women's first thought upon hearing a cancer diagnosis is how long they will live. As treatment begins, there are further concerns about the appearance of the female body (e.g. after surgery) and questions about sexual life. All these fears are understandable, as the life of the sick woman and her immediate family comes to face a completely different everyday life than before.
