At the turn of the century, the role of women in society has been changing. Femininity is recognised as an expression of spiritual richness.

Motherhood is the first and extraordinary beauty of it. Femininity is the readiness to help, to serve, to sacrifice for the weakest.

Today, the greatest religions include:

  • judaism;
  • christianity;
  • islam;
  • hinduism.

In Judaism, the birth of a girl is accompanied by a ceremony of symbolic welcome and covenant with God. A Jewish girl becomes a woman at the age of 12-13. From an early age, girls are taught the rules of household management as prescribed in the Talmud. The main task is to maintain a positive atmosphere in the home, raising offspring. The man, on the other hand, is to provide for the family.

Contact between men and women is regulated by halacha. It prohibits two people of the opposite sex from being in the same closed room. This is only possible in the case of a married couple, a parent with a child, or an adult with a child - a girl up to the age of three or a boy up to the age of nine.

In Christianity, the model of a woman is the mother of Jesus. The primary mission of a woman is motherhood. A woman should have the right to free choice, equal upbringing, education. Women can study theology but are not allowed to enter the priesthood. Any sexual initiative before marriage is considered a sin.
