A subglottic hemangioma in infants is a pathological condition and at the same time very dangerous for the child's health and life, due to its location, as it blocks the airways and can lead to the child's death, which happens in up to 50% of cases. The clinical picture of a hemangioma is characteristic and usually does not require any additional examinations, but a biopsy or MRI may help in the diagnosis. Treatment options for hemangioma include tracheotomy, radiotherapy, laser, steroids, interferon and excision of the lesion.
