Mother earth has gifted us with an extensive range of teas to enjoy.

These range from strong black to red, yellow, green and white. There are many ways to prepare and drink tea - depending on culture and tradition, it is consumed hot or cold, with milk, sugar, rum, as well as salt and butter. The most classic is, of course, tea without any additives - this brings out all its flavour and aroma to the fullest.

Different tea in different countries

The Chinese and Japanese drink tea to relax. This is accompanied by the whole ritual of brewing it in appropriate vessels, a specially designated place in the house or premises. They never do it in a hurry. They mostly drink green tea with jasmine, orange blossom or lotus. The Chinese never sweeten. They drink in small sips. The most important thing is that the tea is hot. The English are also famous for their tea-making traditions. They serve their tea in a large teapot. They drink tea three times a day: in the morning, at lunch and, of course, at five o`clock in the afternoon - the famous five o`clock. Russians and Poles are famous for drinking strong black tea usually served in a glass. Traditionally in Russia, bitter tea was drunk and pieces of sugar or jam were served on saucers.

Medicinal properties

Tea is not only an aromatic beverage consumed at social gatherings or to warm up on a cloudy rainy day. Tea leaves have many medicinal properties, the resources of which were already used by our ancestors. Often it was the only remedy available. Today, they are also used for a variety of ailments and conditions.

Tea is the cure for all ills

When we have a sore throat, migraine, indigestion or heartburn, we swallow heaps of pills, exposing the liver, kidneys and other organs to poisoning and problems of insufficiency. In the rush for time, we do not think about the consequences of taking so many drugs that pharmaceutical companies offer us. Let us therefore benefit from the proven healing properties of teas.

When we feel that we have caught an infection, our throat starts to hurt and our body is overpowered by fever, it is worth drinking tea with lemon or honey, raspberry juice or an infusion of chamomile, lime blossom or elderberry. This will warm up your body and help you fight the infection more effectively.

Mint and its strengths

Mint is one of the oldest medicinal plants in the world. An infusion of mint tea has a multifaceted effect, mainly on stomach disorders, but also on neuralgia, joint and muscle pain, as well as sedative, antispasmodic, antiemetic, disinfectant, analgesic, stimulates digestive juices, bactericidal and antiparasitic properties.
