The number of caesarean sections performed has increased worldwide. In Italy alone, caesarean sections account for more than 35% of births. Clinical factors play an important role in such cases, but also not insignificant is the attitude of health professionals towards caesarean section procedures. This attitude needs to be studied in more detail in order to correctly further identify indications and limitations to caesarean section procedures.
