Ayahuasca is a drug mainly used by Indians from the Amazon basin. Researchers from various centres in Brazil conducted a study in which they wanted to determine what effect it had on treating people with depression resistant to traditional treatment. The study was, admittedly, conducted on a small group of patients, but it provides valuable and promising information.
