The results of a study show that the simultaneous use of L-carnitine and L-acetylcarnitine increases sperm motility in men with oligoasthenoteratozoospermia. Sixty infertile men whose semen met the following criteria were studied: sperm content of 10-40 million/ml, less than 15% showing progressive movement, 10-40% with total motility and less than 80% with atypical motility.
