Cervical cancer is currently the third most common cancer in women worldwide. Poland is one of the countries with an average incidence of this cancer. What is worrying is that the mortality rate in Europe is one of the highest. The peak incidence is in the sixth decade of life, although recent years have shown a significant increase in incidence in younger women.
