In the case of psychotic disorders, above all schizophrenia, it is often emphasised how important it is to implement treatment as soon as possible in patients suffering from them. The problem here, however, is that the onset of schizophrenia is often overlooked and much time passes before the patient even sees a doctor. For this reason, specialists are developing further methods for the early diagnosis of schizophrenia and even for predicting its onset - one such method may be based on the analysis of patients' speech.
