24-hour assistance in difficult life situations is offered by the Crisis Intervention Centre, whose new premises were opened on 6 October 2003 in Leszczyny, Gdynia. The centre has existed for six years, but until now it was run by the City Social Welfare Centre and occupied only two rooms in the Community Self-help Centre. It is now run by a non-governmental organisation, Together Association.
