The autumn retreats for psychiatrists and psychologists in Laski near Warsaw have a long history. The first ones were held on the initiative of Dr Zdzisław Jaroszewski and Sister Catherine Steinberg, back in 1957. Since then, psychiatrists (about 30 people from all over Poland) have met almost every year in Laski for days of recollection.
This year's days of recollection will take place on 15-17 October (from Friday evening to Sunday). They will be led by the chaplain of the Institute for the Blind in Laski, Fr Jakub Szcześniak.
