There are few data available on the effects of testosterone on the endometrium in postmenopausal women. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of testosterone and/or estrogen treatment on endometrial proliferation in healthy postmenopausal patients.

An open-label randomised study with concurrent comparison with control groups was conducted.
