Today is the 21st anniversary of the death of Erik Erikson, psychoanalyst and founder of the theory of psychosocial development. He made us see development as a lifelong process - not just until the end of adolescence. He was the first to point out that children are not only biological beings, but their nature is also a result of social expectations, prohibitions and orders.
