Hearing loss is a problem affecting more and more people in society. Whatever the cause, there are many options to compensate for it - from hearing aids to sound amplifiers to modern computer aided hearing programmes. Some of the devices are aimed at people with hearing loss, but not all of them are dedicated to them, which does not mean that they cannot be successfully used by them.
