The journal Stroke presents the results of a retrospective study that evaluated the length of hospitalisation of stroke patients in a multidisciplinary stroke unit compared to hospitalisation of patients with a similar diagnosis in a general neurology or internal medicine unit. In-hospital mortality was also compared between the two types of wards.
