The law on the profession of psychologist is highly controversial. Article 4 states that the practice of the profession of psychologist consists, among other things, in the application of psychotherapy and the provision of psychological assistance. And Article 61 makes it punishable by restriction of liberty or a fine for providing psychological services without a licence to practice. This means that only psychologists can apply psychotherapy.
