Depression in men

A recent study shows that women with mutations in the presenilin-1 (PS1) gene are more likely to suffer from depression than their relatives without such mutations.

The study was conducted on a group of 33 women, with no symptoms of depression and unaware of whether they were carriers of mutations within the PS1 gene or not (17 of them were carriers of PS1 mutations and 16 were not).
