Psoriasis is a skin disease, diabetes on the other hand is an entity associated with abnormal pancreatic function and blood glucose disturbances. In theory, these are completely separate conditions, but in practice, they have a great deal in common - it turns out that psoriasis can promote diabetes and, in addition, in a relatively large number of patients, the two problems co-exist.
