There are various disorders of sexual preference. Among the most commonly described are fetishism, transvestism, exhibitionism, ogling, sadism, masochism and paedophilia. Less commonly described sexual preference disorders include pygmalionism, narcissism, necrophilia, zoophilia, nymphomania, satyriasis, sniffing and rubbing.
These should be distinguished from sexual orientation disorders, of which transsexualism is the most representative example.
