Skin neoplasms account for approximately 8-10% of all malignant tumours. They arise under the influence of various physical, mechanical, chemical and biological factors. Personal factors include skin phototype, pigment type, age or immune status. The most common skin can cers are basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and papillary carcinoma.
