A link has been found between stress-induced increases in blood pressure and an increase in silent strokes in otherwise healthy, unaffected elderly people, according to the authors of a study published in the June issue of Stroke. It is likely that the increases in blood pressure are just one of many ways in which stress influences the development of cerebral blood supply disorders.

A study of 67 people aged between 55 and 81 years.
