However, more and more scientists are carrying out such operations, as uterine transplants can, for example, give women who were born with a missing or underdeveloped uterus the chance to give birth to a child. One of the most interesting of such operations is mentioned by scientists in Brazil, who carried out a uterus transplant from a deceased donor.
