In the field of dentistry, the aspect of cavity fillings and implantology deserves attention, due to the changing demands of dental treatment. It is estimated that there is a decreasing demand for treatment with removable restorations in favour of local restorations or restorations within a single tooth. This presents dentistry with the challenge of finding new solutions for treatment biomaterials and improving their biocompatibility.
