A new study has just been launched in the UK to assess whether there is an increased risk of suicide in people taking antidepressants. Researchers want to assess the risk of suicidal thoughts, self-harm, non-fatal overdose and suicide risk in patients taking serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) drugs and in those taking tricyclic antidepressants (TLGCFs).
