Among the fears related to sexual relations, Poles mention unwanted pregnancy in first place. This fear is expressed by as many as 65% of men and 76% of women.

At the same time, 42% of the women and men surveyed declare that in the case of a threat of unwanted pregnancy, the best solution is to take the so-called pill after intercourse. Only 32% of the total respondents say that in such a situation, the best solution is to give birth.

The greatest supporters of taking the pill after intercourse are women with basic/vocational education (54%) and secondary education (54%). Among men, this view is held by 43% and 37% of those in the same category respectively. Significantly fewer respondents sharing similar views are found among respondents with primary education (32% of men and 27% of women, respectively) and bachelor's/higher education (47% of men and 46% of women, respectively).
