World Health Day was established in 1948 by the WHO (World Health Organisation). The day is celebrated on 7 April. The main aim is to identify the population of those health problems that are most neglected.

By celebrating this day, the World Health Organisation shows how important health is in our lives. By leading an appropriate lifestyle, we can gain a lot to improve our own wellbeing.

The philosophy of health is based on four basic factors, identified by Lalond as health fields in 1973. He identified groups of factors such as lifestyle, physical environment, genetic factors and healthcare that have a direct impact on our health.
