A rash in a child is a very common paediatric problem. It is most often a manifestation of harmless viral infections, which are self-limiting after some time. Treatment consists mainly of proper care and symptomatic treatment. However, it is important to be aware of several clinical situations in which the course can be violent and the complications dangerous to the health of the toddler. In this article, I have outlined some of the most common causes of rashes in children.
