A visit to the pharmacy

There are many over-the-counter remedies for colds. It is a good idea to use them to help fight the illness, while keeping a healthy mind of course. Sore throat tablets, antipyretics, cough drops and nasal decongestants are advisable, especially when symptoms are severe, last for several days and are not helped by home remedies.

A cold is not the end of the world, but it should not be underestimated as it can cause serious complications such as pneumonia, ear infections or tracheitis.
