The expressiveness of carnival make-up is defined this season by warm colours, stronger, thoughtful accents and soft shimmer. The most fashionable looks are dominated by intensively emphasised eyes and their special setting. Make-up artists can use eyelashes in many different colours and shapes for this purpose.
Bird of paradise
The top addition to standard eyelash extensions is now an additional application of coloured lashes and those shaped like feathers. The coloured ones are composed with black lashes - they then create an interesting eye frame and emphasise the effect of the treatment. With this styling, the application of mascara is no longer necessary.
This season's most fashionable shades of green, red and purple can even be matched to the colour of the iris. On the other hand, the feather is only applied to a part of the lashes - at the outer corner of the eye. The prices of such treatments depend on the location (for example, application using the Nouveau Lashes method costs between PLN 400 and PLN 700 on average).
Shine on the eye
A metallic, darker colour on the eyelid is a variation on the still fashionable smokey eye make-up theme. The combination of black and grey emphasises the elegant character of the look, while the addition of dark blue adds extravagance. If you opt for a light eye colour, choose a dark eyeliner and use it to create a strong accent, such as a thick '60s-style line or one that vibrates with colour.
This will thicken the lash line, giving it extra thickness and making the look deeper and sensual. Finally, all you need to do is a delicate face make-up (the complexion can be glowing or matte) and you can enjoy the beauty of the carnival....
