Glaucoma is one of the most dramatic eye diseases. It occurs most commonly in infants and young children, often posing diagnostic difficulties leading to delayed diagnosis and the introduction of effective treatment. This article discusses the types of glaucoma, the aetiology and the therapeutic management of this group of diseases.
