Facial wrinkles

The secret of a beautiful and healthy complexion is not only the right choice of creams, serums or masks. The most important point in daily skin care is thorough facial cleansing, which prepares the skin to absorb the beneficial ingredients contained in care cosmetics. For this reason, make-up removal has become the first rule of the Healthy Skin Decalogue

One of the most common 'beauty sins' of Polish women is forgetting to remove their make-up in the evening. Apart from foundation or powder, other impurities accumulate on our skin throughout the day: dust, pollen, sweat and sebum. When we neglect the daily cleansing of our skin - it becomes dull and prone to blemishes. "Without the ritual of proper skin cleansing performed twice a day, there is no way to properly care for the skin, no make-up will succeed, much less active substances contained in the cream will be absorbed into our skin," - says Dr Henryka Dabrowska, dermatologist.

If you want to cleanse your face properly, there are three rules to remember:

  1. First: washing the skin with a suitable cleanser (under no circumstances with soap and water!).
  2. Secondly, toning (with an alcohol-free toner that does not dry out the skin).
  3. Third: application of cream. Each cosmetic should be chosen according to your skin type.

The best place to start make-up removal is by thoroughly cleansing the eye area. To do this, choose a cleanser specifically designed for eye make-up removal. It should have a gentle formula and be hypoallergenic so as not to irritate this particularly sensitive area.

For cleansing the rest of the facial skin, a different cosmetic should be matched. For dry and sensitive skin, cosmetics with a gentle formula, rich in moisturising and soothing ingredients (e.g. allantoin, plant extracts) are recommended. The best lotions are those that are applied to the face with the fingertips while gently massaging the skin, and then removed with a cotton swab. A good choice is a make-up remover with an active plant complex from the hypoallergenic range
