Tick bite

Lyme disease is a condition caused by infection with Lyme spirochetes, which are usually transmitted by ticks. The main symptoms characterised by Lyme disease are the cutaneous manifestations in children, usually in the form of erythema migrans , which may be accompanied by other symptoms such as fever, weakness and lymphadenopathy. Diagnostic difficulties are posed both by the breadth of symptoms and systems that may be affected and by the lack of specific and unambiguous diagnostic tests.
