Diabetic foot is one of the very dangerous preventable complications of diabetes - there are many times when it is necessary to amputate the foot of a patient who has developed this problem. Such a possibility should clearly suggest that diabetic foot is a very serious condition - the need to treat this problem is therefore simply unarguable. However, not all diabetic patients ultimately struggle with diabetic foot - so what can be done to prevent the occurrence of this diabetic complication?
