Depression in women

Endometrial cancer is one of the most common malignancies in women. It is also called endometrial cancer because it develops from the epithelial cells that make up the endometrium.

The treatment that is chosen depends on the patient's age and her procreative plans. In women who wish to have offspring, hormonal treatment, in the form of tablets or intramuscular injections, is most commonly used.

If the cancer has already developed after the menopause , surgical treatment is applied by removing the uterus with the adnexa - if the disease is weak. When the cancer is extensive the lymph nodes are also removed supplementing the treatment with radiotherapy. When there is a recurrence, doctors use chemotherapy.
