Flowers accompany us practically at every turn. In the meadow, in the front garden, at school and work or in the flat - they are everywhere.
Water is essential
When taking an interest in flowers, we must remember to give them the right care. Each plant requires special care throughout the year. As a reward, it constantly sprouts new shoots and the flowering plants please our eyes. Proper watering is extremely important.
Plants are much more likely to be harmed by too much water than not enough. At lower temperatures, they need a limited amount, whereas abundant watering is necessary when the room temperature is high or the plant is in bloom. Growing leaves evaporate a lot of water and then you need to take care to water them more often, the opposite process happens with a pruned plant.
Buy fertiliser ...
In addition to basic elements such as air, water, light and heat, plants also need nutrients. Under natural conditions, they get these themselves; at home, we have to take care of this. The nutrients are used up after a few months. To this end, our growers need to fertilise their plants properly with fertilisers specially developed for this purpose.
Such fertilisers are rich in mineral substances (mainly nitrogen, which is necessary for leaf development, phosphorus, which is responsible for root and flower formation, and potassium, which provides resistance to disease) and special nutrients to protect against insect attacks and bacterial diseases. Flowers also need care and proximity. Already many years ago, scientists discovered that talking to flowers has a beneficial effect on their development.
The presence of flowers in our surroundings makes us feel better and, according to research by scientists, we also function better. Learning or working in a floral environment is faster and more efficient. Needless to say, how much more pleasant it is to relax in a room full of plants. Moreover, they add colour and enliven the grey reality around us.
