This thesis is confirmed by Tomasz Hubert, from the telephone interpreting company Gstpc. - We had a case where a woman from a Krakow pub called us. She was in a panic because an angry Frenchman had approached her, waving his arms and shouting at the bartender while looking at her blankly. It turned out that the man had already ordered champagne an hour ago and asked the waiter to invite the lady to the table. While waiting, he felt like an idiot and exploded. Our interpreter on the phone eased the situation. After that, he was no longer needed, as the couple communicated without words. After all, Polish-French passion has a great tradition... Let's remember that Maria Leszczyńska was a French queen, Maria Walewska was Napoleon's beloved, and Countess Ewelina Hańska was Balzac's greatest love.

It appears that lovers of matrimonial tourism are increasingly appreciating the benefits of telephone translations. But let's not hide the fact that a relationship with a foreigner is a passionate but often fleeting affair. Perhaps that is why it can be so intense. After all, both parties know that their time is numbered. - In such situations, good communication is particularly important. Romance during a trip abroad is almost an everyday occurrence. Cultural exchange, also in the matrimonial dimension, is already a standard in modern societies," argues Tomasz Hubert from Gstpc.

We are not urging anyone to abandon the faithful Polish men. Our boys are learning faster and faster and are capable of pleasant surprises. Though perhaps they are a tad spoilt by our grandeur.... Therefore, mixed relationships are an interesting diversion and sometimes a great passion and school of life. Modern Europe should unite, also within the ars amandi.
