The flooding in Libya may be the most tragic flood of the 21st century, with casualty estimates ranging from 4,000 to 11,000 people, with nearly 10,000 people still listed as missing. The rescue operation is virtually over, hopes of finding living people are at a minimum. Poisoning from contaminated water is becoming a problem, with at least 150 cases of poisoning already identified.
