With this disease, the uterus may be completely removed. 40% of women liken this to castration. After such an operation, women have indicated a worsening of sexual intercourse, a decrease in attractiveness, a decrease in sexual satisfaction. It is important to make women aware after the operation that the operation heals and does not destroy femininity, it does not result in a change of life role. Possible sexual dysfunction is only a result of stress and not of the operation.
