Herpes is a viral disease whose symptom is the appearance of blisters on the skin or mucous membranes. Although there is currently no drug that will completely cure HSV-1 or HSV-2 infection, appropriate methods can significantly alleviate symptoms and shorten the duration of outbreaks.
