When an anonymous alcoholic goes to an AA meeting, he greets everyone, introduces himself and utters the phrase "I am an alcoholic, I have not been drinking for x amount of time". The assembled group can only take his word for it that this 'x amount of time' is true, blindly believing in themselves that they too will succeed. Reality, however, is sometimes more brutal. Only people who truly believe in themselves can recover from addiction.
I read a lot. I don't always have the time to do it, but I try to reach for different kinds of reading. Books are mirrors in which we see what we have inside ourselves. Literature is a world that man chooses for himself. Nobody imposes an author, a title. We are free to choose our own little world. Bad addictions must be fought against, intensified on a daily basis with the aim of improvement. The good ones must be shared with others, so that everyone can enjoy what they do.
I am happy with my addictions, admittedly I should cut down on my shopping as I may soon have a problem closing my wardrobe. However, I will never give up on my friends because they are the angels who show us every day how to fly. Tea without ginger? I'll invent another one to experience a new flavour. I will read the book in spite of everything, because it colours my life with a poetic mood.

I like my little world full of quirky yet amazing addictions. I wish each of you to be able to create your little world by sharing it with others. Life is a short moment, it is worth using it in an interesting way.
