Little girls become like their mothers, teenagers rebel against them. When a woman becomes a young mother, it is she who serves with her wisdom and help with her newborn baby. It is by her side that we grow up gazing at her with pride and listening to her life wisdom.
Every little girl surreptitiously picks up her mother's clothes and cosmetics to clumsily dress and paint herself in the corner in front of the mirror to be her - her mother. How funny then, these little women look as they walk around the room in pearls around their necks and too-big stilettos, humming their mothers' favourite tunes under their breath. How many times have we ourselves said these words as little girls, and often heard them later from the mouths of our daughters: Mummy, I want to be just like you. How beautiful it sounds.
Whether we want it or not, we are just like our mothers. Why is this? According to psychologists, the mother is the most important person in every daughter's life. She is also the first woman we meet, which makes her a role model for us. Someone who passes on to us a whole set of character traits and values that constitute our sensitivity and femininity.

By observing it from its first moments of life, we acquire its daily rituals, its tastes, its way of behaving and even its views of the world. We become similar to them. That is how we become women.
In the pre-school and early school years, we are proud of the fact and excited by the feeling that we are so much like our mothers. Puberty, on the other hand, is a time of rebellion and a storm of hormones in our heads. This is when we become aware of the passing of time. We realise that, apart from the advantages, mothers also have disadvantages. We begin to feel the fear of old age. We often panic and rebel against the inevitable turn of events, thus rejecting the idea that we can be just like our parents.
