A few days ago, I saw the film 'Scent of a Woman', which is no longer the latest (a phenomenal leading role by Al Pacino). The film is about values, about life, about happiness, but also about the eponymous smell of a woman. A blind veteran, upon meeting any woman, unerringly recognises the brand of cosmetic product she is using. A touching and beautiful film - I sincerely recommend it.
As everywhere, it should be noted that exaggeration should be avoided. Fragrances that overlap too much, or scents that are too intense - will irritate not only delicate noses. I suggest a universal rule: slightly behind the ears, both wrists and the lower neckline. I also recommend concentrated perfumes instead of eau de toilette. Admittedly, you will spend more money on them, but even a small amount will have the desired effect, the fragrance will last longer and even a small flacon will be more efficient.
Women are not the only ones who smell good. Few men realise that they grow considerably in a woman's eyes if they carry a subtle, intriguing scent (for example of perfume). Many people, this is how they remember specific people, using the memory of smell. And let's not forget that perfume is a universal gift, good for any occasion, as long as you know the preferences of the recipient.
So, ladies, let's pay special attention to fragrance. On its quantity, quality and selection. Let it become, next to shoes, handbag and jewellery, another carefully selected accessory. Not only on festive occasions, but also on a daily basis. Fragrance is what defines us as women.
